Fall ONLINE Semester classes start on Monday! Welcome to our newest degree- and certificate-seeking students, welcome back to our returning students, and welcome to our On-Campus students utilizing our online class options!
As a final wrap up for Summer Term 2, the Online Learning Program will ask you again to complete your student surveys. These are instrumental in our capacity to improve and develop the program. You will find the survey in your class materials, in the final Module.
I have to remind you of important deadlines this week for the start of Fall Term: Registration will close on Thursday, August 27th – after that point, you will not be able to add a course to your schedule for Term 1 (or Full Term). Thursday, August 27th is also the Tuition deadline for Term 1 – you will need to have your tuition bill paid or your financial aid accepted to be placed into your Moodle classroom. Barrister’s Bookshop is still open and if you need to get books, you may still order them – if you have not yet ordered your books, you may benefit from searching the Julien and Virginia Cornell Library for an e-version to use while waiting for yours to arrive.
Next week will see the Drop deadline of September 4: if you need to drop your class and you do so before the end of the day on Friday, the class will not be reflected on your transcript and you will see 100% of your tuition refunded (the Semester and Term fees are non-refundable). If this is something you’re considering, please be in touch with me, so I can help make sure that everything is addressed correctly.
On a bright, ending note: welcome to Fall Semester, 2020, Online, at Vermont Law School!
