Term 2 starts on Monday! My ‘office’ will be closed on Friday, but I am available through the end of the day Thursday to try to help address any issues. Please feel free to call or email me!
As a final wrap up for Term 1, the Online Learning Program will ask you again to complete your student surveys. These are instrumental in our capacity to improve and develop the program. You will find the survey in your class materials, toward the bottom sections.
I have to remind you of important deadlines this week for the start of Term 2: Registration will close on Thursday, July 2nd – after that point, you will not be able to add a course to your schedule for Term 2. Thursday, July 2nd is also the Tuition deadline for Term 2 – you will need to have your tuition bill paid or your financial aid accepted to be placed into your Moodle classroom. Barrister’s Bookshop is now closed until July 6, but if you need to get books, you may still order them – if you have not yet ordered your books, you may benefit from searching the Julien and Virginia Cornell Library for an e-version to use while waiting for yours to arrive.
Lastly: you are all likely to have seen the announcement from our Dean and President, Tom McHenry regarding the transition of our Residential modality to Virtual in the Fall Semester. At this moment, we do not expect that to have an impact on our Online Program, as the synchronous virtual classes are different than the asynchronous online classes. Our team will work to keep you informed of any opportunities and changes, should they arise.
