We wanted to make sure that information regarding the calendar for the remainder of the year is shared with you. You may have proactively tried to find the Academic Calendars for Summer, Fall, and beyond to try to prepare yourself for the remainder of this year. As you can see, the start of our online terms is being updated to start on Mondays.
This change is being made due to many instances of requesting and further discussion within the Online Program. This change will not change the length of any term, but is likely to impact the day of the week that assignments will be due on. Again, because the term is starting one day earlier, the assignment being due one day earlier does not alter the amount of time between the two.
Please do know that the calendar change was planned prior to VLS's decision to close campus, and is unrelated.
One of the things we are looking forward to is continuing to develop the online program, and we appreciate your patience as we identify and implement changes.
