This is just a reminder that your spring term 2 class opens on Tuesday, March 5th. You will not be able to see the class in Moodle prior to Tuesday morning. Please log in to your class on Tuesday and begin your assignments for week 1. Too many students earn a poor grade because they wait several days to begin the class and miss the week 1 assignments. With only 7 ½ weeks for the class, every week counts!
Here is the link to your class: https://learn.vermontlaw.edu/. Students who are taking your first online class at VLS should be working through the Moodle orientation module now.
Barrister’s Book Shop is closed next week for the campus spring break. Here is the link to the book list for all online classes: https://barristers.vermontlaw.edu/index.cfm?category=84. If you have not yet ordered your book, you may have to order it from your preferred online vendor in order to have it for the first day of class.
The drop deadline is Friday, March 8th at midnight, Eastern time. After that date, you may still withdraw from class, but a Withdraw will be posted on your transcript.
Campus students are on spring break next week and the campus will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday is Town Meeting Day in Vermont, where me meet in our local towns and villages to discuss our local issues and vote on items up for review. Pure democracy at its best! https://www.timeanddate.com/holidays/us/town-meeting-day-vermont
Even though the school is closed on Monday and Tuesday, I will be checking email. Please reach out to me at any time if you have questions or need assistance. I look forward to working with you this term.
