Several students in the environmental programs have expressed interest in taking restorative justice classes, so I checked with Anne Linehan, Associate Director of the Environmental Law Center.
As far as I know, the Restorative Justice in Indigenous Communities class (campus class) is the only RJ class approved for the environmental master’s degrees. Students are welcome to make their case as to why they should get permission to count other RJ classes toward an environmental degree. For example, a residential student could make the case that International Law is a relevant class for them because they are interested in international environmental law. If they want to pursue that option, they should send me an email explaining why a particular RJ course is relevant to their course of study.

Likewise, RJ students should check with Bobby Sand for approval prior to taking an environmental class.
